Easter in Yorkshire - Lambs go crazy.

This is what I imagine. Easter eggs as well, maybe.  Less cars on the roads. Never! But lovely sheep and gorgeous cows. Beautiful horses. Human beings will come to see us. Half vegetarian, half meat eaters. We will easily cope with that.


Life in politics will come to a rest. So will we. Easter menus will consist of duck with potato salad*. Salmon with a wonderful salad, nicely composed with garden herbs such as parseley, dill, sage and chives. Bumpkin oil coming as an extra to make the dressing divine. Did I get carried away again? Well, Easter is Easter. Is one not allowed to daydream?


* This is a speciality I brought from the South of Germany. I have been praised and honoured for it. Considering that there are at least 20 different ways of manufacturing potato salad, my method is the best one. The potatoes come normally from Cyprus, North or South. The recipe can be obtained.
