Yorkshire, what a place!

Best parents - best couple!
Fire, water, stone. If a freshly married couple sticks to those elements, nothing gets wrong in life. A bit of passion must be. Be it the occasional snuggle at the fireplace. Water, the liquid of loving communication between the two, shall never turn into ice. Stone, the solid symbol of strength and perseverance. You don't  find it everywhere, but in Yorkshire there is a lot of it. And Yorkshire people do know it. They love their country and do appreciate the rest of the world.

Their country

We had this wonderful wedding of Claire and Jonathan. That was near Huddersfield, where the clans of the Burtons and the Siddalls "buried their arms" for ever. There were no arms, of course. Peaceful as everybody was, the promising curfew will last a lifetime. The blessings were done by Johnny's mother Sue and his grandfather Lewis, both professionals when it comes to symbolize true love.

Malham Cove

Fire, water and stone. And, of course, lovely meadows, rivers, rocks and overwhelming scenery. Autumn versions of cosiness, married to fresh winds. We were not happy at the idea, to have to leave, in a couple of days, this wonderful place, the stormy rains still not having moved in. Therefore, our hosts did everything to make us feel at home, dining and wining not  at all excluded. It is good to know that one can come back again. And read the Guardian, have beens on toast, get upset at Farage, ask for a lager and watch Strictly Come Dancing or Holby City.

Fire, water, stone.
